Orbital Riveting Machine
The purpose of this machine is to rivet brake pad clips and scrappers to multiple style pads
Key components used:
- Baltec Riveter
- Hiwin Profile Rail
- Servo driven ball screw
- SMC pneumatic cylinders
- AEC Electro Magnet
Simplified Sequence of Operation:
- Operator manually loads brake pads and clips to nest
- Ball screw driven XY slide table positions part for multiple rivet positions
- Baltec unit rivets
- Eject cylinder advances to pick product and place it on chute to belt conveyor
- XY slide table travels to operator load position
