Visor Heat Stake Machine
The purpose of this machine is to attach fabric to an automotive visor
Key components used:
- Watlow heater bars
- Keyence light curtains
- Festo pneumatic cylinders and clamps
- System runs LH and RH parts
- Manual change out tooling
Simplified Sequence of Operation:
- Operator loads visor in lower nest with fabric
- Upper heat stake tooling lowers and engages lower alignment pins
- Dwells on visor
- Upper tooling retracts
- Operator removes visor
